Penegra 100 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that contains sildenafil citrate 100 mg. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. ED means having difficulty getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sexual activity.
Penegra belongs to a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors. It helps increase blood flow to the penis when a man is sexually aroused. This can help achieve and maintain an erection. Penegra does not cause an erection by itself, so sexual stimulation is needed for it to work.
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break it unless your doctor specifically advises otherwise. This tablet is generally taken about 1 hour before sexual activity, although it may be taken from approximately 30 minutes to 4 hours beforehand. It can be taken with or without food. A heavy or high-fat meal may delay the time it takes to start working. Do not take Penegra more than once in 24 hours.
